The Future for CoralTree

CoralTree Organics have been involved with the Tree Crop Assn, researching into the nutritional health benefits of different varieties of apples, with particular interest in Cancer and Diabetes. After extensive research (click here to view full details), two particular varieties (Monty’s Surprise and Takapuna Russett) were found to have very high levels of chemical compounds which were beneficial in treating these health issues. Many of the modern varieties of apples are very low in these compounds.

CoralTree has been growing old fashioned varieties for the last 10 years and is currently working on extending its orchards with plantings of Monty’s Surprise and Takapuna Russett, so that in future our vinegar and juices will be even more nutritional.
